Now that’s what Ataxia UK calls lockdown

Now that is what I call Lockdown- Virtual activity groups for the Ataxia Community

As the Covid-19 situation has developed across the UK, we are all now faced with all of us self-isolating in our homes. This means the traditional social activities we used to enjoy have been removed from our daily lives.

At Ataxia UK we want to create social activities that are safe but also allow people to connect with one another. In this vein, Ataxia UK have created weekly activity sessions you can access from the comfort of your own home. These sessions will be held every Friday from 1pm-2pm, so you can even participate in your lunch break if working from home.

The sessions will be based on a separate theme each week. These will include:

TV Series

Book Group

Film Club

Music Group

We hope these sessions will be informative, entertaining and leave people feeling a little less isolated while at home.

If you would like to book yourself on one of these sessions simply email volunteering@ataxia.org.uk for further details.
