In Memory Of
Louisa Arnold
I'm fundraising in memory of my niece Louisa who died from Friedreich's Ataxia in October 2018.
I wanted to do something in her memory to raise not only funds for scientific research into Ataxia, but also to raise awareness of the condition which affects around 2000 people in the UK.
I'm known for wearing shorts, and in 2019 I pledged to wear shorts all day every day and donated £1 per day to ataxia research hoping that others would support my endeavour by providing sponsorship as I worked towards my goal.
The response has been amazing and I have already far exceeded my fundraising target of £1000. My web page will stay open for contributions until March 2020.
