We are delighted to announce our new partnership with Origin Broadband, a broadband company based in Yorkshire who will be kindly fundraising for us for the next six months!
Head of Marketing at Origin, Mrs Helen Carling, has chosen to support Ataxia UK because her daughter was diagnosed with Friedreich’s ataxia last year. Every penny raised over the next six months will be put towards funding crucial research projects, with the aim of finding treatments and a cure for Friedreich’s ataxia.
The company have come up with various fundraising ideas, including an office tuck shop, a ‘win a day off’ competition, a quiz night, a ‘guess the number of sweets in the jar’ competition, and various other bespoke ideas!
They have set themselves the target of raising £1,200 for Ataxia UK, and we cannot thank them enough for their support. They’ve already been busy with their fundraising events, as you can see on their news page!
