Kidz Aware are a peer-led organisation who work towards promoting the equality of opportunities, choices and independence for all disabled children and adults across all services – including education, training, work placement and employment – over the last ten years on a local and national basis.
They are providing training courses in February and March based in Wakefield, Yorkshire, that are at parents, carers and service providers. These courses aim to help improve outcomes for children and young people by approaching issues around mental health, disability, equality, racism, bullying and other issues faced by families of disabled young people. We will focus on our agency work with children and families.
